Do You Believe?
By Mark Flippo
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 1:12 - But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:
John 14:1 - Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
John 14:12 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Romans 10:9 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
According to the five scriptures above, do you get the idea that believing is important to God? Believing is not the stopping point. Believing is just the first step in your journey in anything you are going to do for God. It doesn't matter if you are talking about salvation or working in a special field of study for Him. Believing puts the shoes on your thoughts and actions.
Now you need momentum to start moving along your path of destiny. That will come from much prayer and Jesus giving you a push start. Jesus will always help you in every phase of your life. Just learn to Trust Him. If you fall down just ask for His helping hand. He is always near to those who Love Him according to His name. He is God and never a more tender word will you receive from anyone else. Hands up for Praise or for a need to be helped out!
